Jim Driscoll grew up in Brownsville, Minnesota along the bluffs of the Mississippi River, where summers were spent outside and running was something kids did only when chased.
He didn’t lace up a pair of running shoes until his mid-forties. At 45 he couldn’t run a block. By 46 he had crossed his first marathon finish line.
Since that first finish line Jim has gone on to complete 12 marathons across 4 states — proving every single mile that it is never too late to chase a dream. He has placed top three in his age group in 5Ks and half marathons and shows no signs of stopping.
His debut book Live Your 26.2 Marathon Dreams is the honest, funny and deeply human story of that journey — from frozen 5K bunny hops to 26.2 miles — packed with real stories, hard-won wisdom and inspiration for anyone who has ever thought it was too late to start.
Now lace up. The road is waiting.
